Ranking the Halloween Horror Nights 35 houses

Here is my ranking of the Halloween Horror Nights houses at Universal Orlando for 2026 (I did every houses except ran out of time for Sinners so it will not be on this list)

 #9. Cyborgia

Coming in at last place for me was Cyborgia. I know this house got a lot of praise but i did not care for it. It wasn't really scary and everything kind of looked the same. The soundtrack in the queue was great and will be stuck in my head forever. The backstory of this house is you are in the future in a world where a corporation called Bio Immortal Bionic Intelligent Systems promises immortality. When their technology fails, machines take matters into their own hands, transforming humans into horrific human-machine hybrids in an attempt to keep them alive.

#8. Madlands Caged Cannibals

I don't have much to say about this one. Not the most interesting or most scary. Some of the sets were cool to look at. I only waited about 25 minutes for this house, so the short wait time made it feel worth it. This one takes place in a once abandoned zoo now controlled by cannibals.

#7. Stranger Things 5: The Final Chapter

This one is based off the final season of the Netflix series, Stranger Things.  I enjoyed this one. I only watched the first season of this show so I didn't really know the story, but the sets were very good.

#6. Invasion: Alien Abduction

This one is a very stereotypical alien invasion story. I read a lot of negative reviews about this one and almost skipped it, but I’m glad I didn’t—I really enjoyed it. The sets were great, it had a campy feel. I had a jump scare with one of the aliens.

#5. Jack and Oddfellow Chaos and Control

This was only my second HHN in Orlando (and one in Universal Japan) so I needed to see what Jack and Oddfellow are all about since they are icons of horror nights. This house was fun and scary. It felt like being in a really spooky fun house.

#4. Hellraiser

This house was great. It had some good scared and excellent sets. It felt like you were in the movie

#3.  Ozzy Osbourne Prince of Darkness

This was the one I was most excited to see. I think they did an excellent job with this one. At one point you walk through the crazy train, which was a great touch. This one had long wait times but think it's definitely worth it.

#2. H.R. Bloodngutz

This house was really fun. I loved the movie puns throughout—it may not have been the scariest house, but it was probably the most enjoyable one for me. H.R. Bloodngutz is the fictional host of WKNB's Midnight Horror Show. After committing several crimes, he is sent to prison. Fifteen years later, he escapes and returns to an abandoned studio to host a Halloween special. The house is filled with rooms inspired by movie puns.

#1. Evil Dead Burn

This house is based of the newest Evil Dead movie. I don't know if it was because it was my first house of the night, but I found this one to be the scariest one. I actually screamed in this one a few times. The sets were excellent. This was my absolute favorite.
